Geography, Economics, Music, and Dance are Brianna’s favorite subjects in school. She is in the top 30% of her class and hopes to attend New York University, UCLA, USC, University of Rochester, or Tufts University.
What challenges did she face?
- Due to her school and personal commitments, she faced some time management issues.
- She is interested in psychology but is still a novice in the discipline, so she has a lot of ground to cover.

The mentor is a psychology lecturer at Princeton University and the University of Washington Tacoma. He also works as a psychologist at Central Michigan University.
How did our program help her?
- Her responsibility at the end of the mentorship program was to give the mentor a PowerPoint presentation. She was able to learn about communication and presenting abilities as a result of this.
- For her final project, she was exposed to seeking, reading, and summarizing literature articles.
