We have a diverse team of mentors who are professors, researchers, or lecturers from selective institutions. They provide our students with valuable insights and tailored support. Throughout the years, our mentors have published several research articles, been awarded research grants and fellowships, hold senior positions in major corporations, travel around the world to attend invited seminars, and some have even received scientific awards as a result of their work! US Mentorship Professors

Lecturer, Statistics & Financial Mathematics, MIT

He is a Lecturer at the Department of Mathematics in MIT and an investment manager who exploits advanced statistical analytics to manage a variety of investment programs. He holds the Series 3 and Series 65 licenses and is registered with the National Futures Association as a Commodity Trading Adviser. He was active on the boards of John Bertram House Inc. (1998-2010) and the Lynn Home for Young Women, Inc. (2005-2010). He received his A.B. magna cum laude degree in applied mathematics from Harvard University and was elected to the Alpha Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. He pursued graduate studies in statistics receiving the M.Sc. degree and the Diploma of Imperial College award from the University of London, and a Ph.D. from the University of California Berkeley.

Lecturer, Chemical Engineering, University of Washington

Both a passionate engineer and data scientist, he is a Chemical Engineering lecturer at University of Washington. He integrates engineer and data science — including the DIRECT course series in software engineering and data science.

He earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at University of Washington. He also has a MS in Chemical Engineering from University of Washington and BS in Chemical Engineering from University of Utah. He has earned several awards including 2018 UW eScience Incubator Awardee by the UW eScience Institute and Outstanding Senior Award by the Local Chapter of AIChE.

Asst. Professor, Computer Science, Brown University

As a highly experienced asst. professor at Brown University, he is also an information and computer science project director and a faculty member of Rhode Island School of Design. He does research into effective information science, computer science and visualization tools to support collaborative group processes for science and industry. He has earned multiple awards including MOC, WARF, CPA, OCY and ΦBK. He holds a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from University of Washington, a Masters in Information Science from University of Wisconsin, and Masters in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Professor, Finance, University of Pennsylvania

He is a finance associate professor with Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania and also an Associate Dean with California State University, Dominguez Hills in the College of Business and Public Policy. Previously, he served as the Department Chair, Department of Accounting, Finance & Economics. He has several publications and competitive research grants to his credit and has also served as a consultant to the World Bank, UNDP and the Asian Development Bank. He earned his Ph.D. and Masters Degree in Economics and Finance from University of Pennsylvania.

Lecturer & Researcher, Economics, UC Irvine

She is a Lecturer and Post Doc Researcher at the University of California, Irvine. She has a strong demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry, as evident in her expertise in Stata, Data Analysis, Econometrics, Quantitative Analytics, and Macroeconomics. She has won several awards including Herman E. Krooss Award and Best Rising Star Paper at the 10th Annual International Industrial Organization Conference.

Senior Lecturer, Economics, UIUC

He is an Economics Senior Lecturer at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His field of interests include American Economic History, Law and Economics, Public Economics/Public Choice. He has lived and worked in Beijing, China for 4 years and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. He has earned an Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching, University of Illinois and Faculty Circle of Excellence Award in Teaching, Northeastern State University.

Postdoctoral Research Associate, Physics, Caltech

He is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Physics, Institute for Quantum Information and Matter, at the California Institute of Technology. He has been a referee for Physical Review X, Physical Review Letters, Physics Review B and Physical Review Materials since 2016. He has earned various awards including Early-Mobility (Swiss National Science Foundation) Fellow at the California Institute of Technology, Prix Vacheron Constantin des Sciences 2016 for the best Ph.D. thesis at Faculty of Science at the Université de Genève, and FIP-Authorea travel grant to present at the APS Meeting.

Postdoctoral Research Associate, Physics, Brown University

He is an Engineering Physics Postdoctoral Research Associate at Brown University, as well as a member of the CMS Collaboration in CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research since the year 2009. He was awarded [2020 LPC Distinguished Researcher] by the LHC Physics Center at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. He has at least 10 years of experience in analyzing large and highly-structured datasets from multiple domains, including astrophysics, genomics, and electronics.

Research Asst. Professor, Neuroscience, Tufts University

He is a Research Assistant Professor at the Allen Discovery Center at Tufts University. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Columbia, Co-founder YHouse Inc and Visiting Scholar at Institute for Advanced Study. He uses information theory and causal analysis to explore the biological basis of consciousness and understand the nature of emergence. He has earned multiple scientific awards including Forbes 30 Under 30 in Science and SURP at the Center for Neural Science at NYU. He earned his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Senior Lecturer, Environment and Society, Brown University

He teaches courses and advises students on sustainable design, environmental stewardship, urban infrastructure, and transportation technology and policy at Brown University. For over 25 years, he has been involved in research, design, and construction of high performance educational facilities. He is also a member of the Steering Committee of the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association RI Chapter, and is a founding member of the NE Campus Sustainability Consortium. Between 2013-2015, he earned the award of Brown University William G. McLaughlin Award for Teaching Excellence in the Social Sciences.

Researcher & Lecturer, Psychology, Northeastern University London

She is a MSc Health Psychology lecturer at NU London, a lecturer in Health Psychology and Psychosomatics at Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) and at Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE). She earned her Ph.D. in Health/Medical Psychology from UCL, which is funded by the Medical Research Council. She also has a MSc in Psychology from UCL.

Asst. Professor, Computational Language Science, University of Florida

His research interests include laboratory phonology, phonetics-phonology and psycholinguistics-speech perception, productivity and lexicon modelling. Highly sought after for his deep knowledge, he has been invited for multiple talks across the world and has received fellowships, research grants and awards from Yale, UCL and Cambridge. He earned his Ph.D. in Linguistics from University College London and completed his postdoctoral training at Yale Linguistics department. He also has a M.Eng. and a B.A. in Engineering from the University of Cambridge.

Business Director & Corporate Strategy

He is a director and corporate strategist of an American global investment management corporation based in New York City. He works with regional CEO and Executive Committee to set strategic direction of business, allocate resources, and ensure management alignment and execution against key metrics. He also had the pleasure to work as a consultant for The office of Tony Blair to design and build Office of the Prime Minister for the government of Kuwait. He received his A.B. magna cum laude and Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton and Stanford University respectively.

Lecturer, Humanities & History, Yale University

Field of interests: modern European social and political thought; radical ideologies; resistance movements; socialism; human rights; critical theory. His works appear in The Historical Journal, Modern Intellectual History, and New German Critique. At Yale, he teaches in Directed Studies and offers seminars on the social responsibility of intellectuals, theories and practices of resistance, and modern revolutions. He received his Ph.D. in History from the University of California, Berkeley.

Independent Researcher

He is a sociologist and philosopher who works within the philosophy of social science and the sociology of knowledge and has a number of interests including continental philosophy, political ontology, Marxism, cultural sociology and the sociology of art. He worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University for more than 3 years. Other interests include the philosophy of science, hermeneutics, existentialism, feminist and queer theory, and critical theory. He earned his Ph.D. in Philosophy at the University College London studying under Roy Bhaskar.

Teacher, Film and Television, NYU Tisch

As a 15-year veteran editor, digital content strategist, cinematographer, college professor and project manager, he has been teaching cinematography and editing at Tisch School of the Arts since 1999 and served as NYU’s Executive Director of Post Production. In 2014, he conducted a TEDx Talk, titled “Modern Mavericks”. He is a contributing writer for Comic Book Resources. He also edits professionally and has worked with such talents as Sting, Billy Eichner, Nick Kroll and Christian McBride. He received his B.F.A. from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.

Teacher, Film and Television, NYU Tisch

A picture editor and sound editor, she has worked on a variety of projects for film and television. Her television credits include the Emmy-award winning series, The Magic School Bus, Cyberchase, Animal Planet Reports, and numerous documentaries for PBS. Film credits include Wallowitch and Ross: This Moment, Sound and Fury, Empire and Modern Love. She has also written for "American Cinematographer" and "Filmmaker" magazines. She earned a MFA in Carbondale (Cinema) from South Illinois University and a BA in Mass Communication from University of South Dakota.

Ph.D. Candidate, English & Comparative Literature, Columbia University

He is a member of Columbia University Institute for Comparative Literature and Society, where he teaches courses in composition, creative writing, and literature at the undergraduate level. At the same time, he is also a working writer with publications in fiction and non-fiction as well as press appearances at The Daily Beast, The New York Times, NPR, CNN, MSNBC, Epiphany magazine, and Blunderbuss magazine. He holds a Masters Degrees in Arabic and Islamic Studies from Georgetown University and is a candidate in MFA, Fiction Writing from Columbia University.

Asst. Professor, Music Composition, Berklee College of Music

She is an Assistant Professor at Berklee and she also served on the piano faculty of the Settlement Music School. She earned several honors and awards including Northridge Composition Prize, Brian M. Israel Prize, MacDowell Fellowship, and grants from the ASCAP and the Society for New Music. She is a music composer with a master’s from CUNY Queens College and a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. She has performed in over 20 cities and is commissioned by the American Composers Forum, San Francisco Choral Artists, and Amuse Singers.

Associate Professor, Music Composition & Theory, Berklee College of Music

He is currently an Associate Professor at the Berklee College of Music where he teaches Conducting, Composition, and Music History. He also serves as Artistic Director and Conductor of the new music and multimedia group, ENSEMBLE / PARALLAX and Music Director and Conductor of the Rivers Symphony Orchestra of Massachusetts. He has earned several awards including Berklee College of Music’s prestigious Faculty Fellowship Award and Fellowship Merit Award in Music Composition by the Rhode Island State Council.

Financial Lecturer

He holds an MSc and PhD in finance from Imperial College Business School where he also lectured on the MSc Finance programme and repeatedly scored top rankings in lecturer evaluation questionnaires. He is a published academic, has presented at the American Finance Association and was a Vice President at JP Morgan in London. He now runs Black & White Capital. He is a non-executive director at The Profs and helps prepare students for their finance interviews

English Literature Lecturer

He holds a doctorate in English from Oxford University where he was an Amelia Jackson scholar. He has published and lectured widely on literature and cultural politics in England and Ireland and is currently preparing his first monograph on Irish literature. He has led tutorials at the University of Oxford and designed syllabuses and taught courses for a wide range of students with international programmes such as ASE (Bath) and OPUS (Oxford). He specializes in improving our clients written and spoken English as well as the quality of their written applications

Quantum Computing Specialist

He has degrees from Cambridge and Imperial College and while completing a PhD in Quantum Computing at Imperial College he vetted prospective students for undergraduate courses

Psychology Studies Specialist

She studied Psychology at Oxford and has significant experience of the interview stages of Oxbridge admissions

Economics & Economic History Lecturer

He is currently the Head of Economics at a leading Russel Group university. He worked as a teaching and research fellow at Oxford, LSE and Warwick. He has first-hand experience of vetting students for some of the world's most competitive universities

Physics Lecturer

She is currently a Lecturer and Supervisor at Cambridge University specializing in Physics for Natural Sciences. As an applications consultant, she has experience working with students for Mathematics, Physics and Natural Sciences and is highly skilled in interview preparation

Statistics Lecturer

With nearly two decades of statistics lecturing and tuition experience around the globe, combined with years of industry experience as a senior statistician working with the Israeli government, she is a true statistics veteran. She graduated from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem with a plethora of qualifications and awards under her belt, including two Rector’s Prizes.

Accounting and Academic Writing Specialist

She is a qualified accountant, has a first degree and PhD in economics and is a qualified Supervisory Analyst (NYSE). She has been tutoring university students for several years since leaving Morgan Stanley. Because of her wide-ranging experience, she is often asked to create bespoke courses for professionals looking to gain a better understanding of the economics, finance and accounting requirements of their jobs.

Research Methods Lecturer

She holds a PhD in Psychiatric Epidemiology and has extensive experience conducting research and delivering teaching in two of the top medical schools in London. She has worked as a Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London and has taught and delivered thesis supervision for postgraduate students. She has presented her work at national and international academic conferences.

Microeconomics Lecturer

He holds a First Class BSc in Economics and Finance from the LSE, where is is now doing his masters. In addition, he has successfully completed all three levels of the CFA program. He has over three years’ experience as a lecturer and tutor in Microeconomics and Corporate Finance. Alongside his teaching commitments, he is an Economic and Equity analyst at a local Investment Bank.

Law Specialist

She has worked as a corporate banker at top tier institutions and structured major transactions for the likes of Jaguar Land Rover, Land Securities and Dyson. She particularly enjoys sharing her knowledge of securitization, structured finance and syndicated loans with her students. She graduated in Law from Brazil’s top university, UNESP, and received a scholarship from Santander to undertake at LLM in International Banking and Finance Law at UCL.

Creative Writing Lecturer

She holds an MA and is a creative writing lecturer, scriptwriter, playwright, journalist and lyricist. She was shortlisted for the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Forum, has won thescriptwriter.co.uk competition and has been selected for Philip Shelley’s Advanced Mentoring Lab at the London Screenwriters’ Festival. Her debut novel WHO LET THE GODS OUT? was published in 2014.

Music Lecturer

He has a long and accomplished career in Music and was London Director of Music for the Royal Shakespeare Company for 20 years. He has been musical director for over 200 productions including Mother Courage with Judi Dench, Cyrano de Bergerac with Derek Jacobi, The Plantagenets with Ralph Fiennes, Hamlet with Kenneth Branagh and The Lord of the Rings. He tutors musical composition, orchestral arrangement and professional audition preparation for singing actors.

Business Studies Specialist

He is a PhD student and ESRC scholar at Imperial College Business School. His research interests include organization design and private sector development in less developed countries. He has extensive teaching experience across MSc, MBA and Executive Education programmes including infrastructure finance, investment modelling, strategic marketing, business economics and accounting. He has also worked on the London Stock Exchange’s ELITE programme.

Biomedicine and Immunology Specialist

He holds a PhD in Immunology from the University Hospital of Wales. He is a published academic and regularly presents his work at international conferences, such as Euroscicon and the British Society of Immunology. His extensive teaching experience has given him deep insight into the problems commonly faced by students pursuing bioscience degrees, especially in biology, biochemistry, medicine, bioinformatics and biomedical sciences.

Anthropology and Archaeology Specialist

She holds a First Class Honours BA in Anthropology from the University of Alberta and an MA and MPhil in Evolutionary Anthropology from Rutgers University. She has over five years experience as one of our private tutors for university students teaching at all undergraduate levels in biological anthropology and archaeology. She also specialises in academic writing and dissertation guidance for both the sciences and the humanities, as well as in post-secondary study skills.
