- She struggled to digest the amount of literature required for this mentorship program.
- This is also the first time she has had to compile literature reviews in order to provide a unified outcome.

The mentor works at New York University as an Assistant Professor of Neuroscience and at Dominican College as an Assistant Professor of Biology. Prior to this, she worked for several years as a research scientist at the Nathan Kline Institute.
How did our program help her?
- Ahana began with very little understanding of Alzheimer’s illness. This mentorship program had allowed her to delve deeper into the effects of music therapy on the sickness and to satisfy her curiosity about the subject.
- The primary purpose of this program was for her to learn how to conduct scientific literature reviews.
