What challenges did she face?
- Early empirical results from the Mentorship Program revealed that second-order differencing might be required to make the time series stationary for analysis. Her research revealed that significant outliers in the data were the source of the evidence supporting second-order differencing.
- Academic research includes resolving difficult empirical challenges like these, and the student was exceptionally successful in her resolution.
