Abhas, who is interested in public policy, wrote a research article about interstate migration in India that won the ISSN Best Researcher Award. The paper was so highly praised that it is also published in the International Journal of Advance Research. He attended Stanford Pre-Collegiate Program in the summer of 2019 and wrote a research paper on the ethical decisions that stopped the Cuban Missile Crisis from intensifying.

What challenges did he face?
- Abhas has picked a broad topic to explore. He was looking for help to condense his writing because he had some interrelated discussions in different areas of the article.
The mentor is a law lecturer from Columbia University. Prior to this, he worked as an Assistant United States Attorney and Chief Appellate Attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
How did our program help him?
- Abhas received a letter of recommendation from his mentor through this program, and it added as one of the pushing factors for his admission to the University of Pennsylvania.
- He created a fantastic research paper as a result of this program, which was published in the Curieux (youth-led) Academic Journal.
